Tour overview

The northern circuit at a sensible pace, opening with a day in Arusha National Park while you shake off the flight. Seven days is enough to see Tarangire's elephant, spend two nights in the Serengeti, and still get an unhurried morning on the Ngorongoro crater floor before you fly home. It is the trip we recommend to most first-time visitors who cannot spare a full ten days.

Trip highlights

  • Walking safari in Arusha National Park
  • Tarangire's dry-season elephant herds
  • Two nights in the central Serengeti
  • An early descent onto the Ngorongoro crater floor
