Tanzania is one of the great wildlife destinations on earth, and our safaris take you into the heart of it. Across the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara you can expect lions, elephants, giraffes and vast herds of plains game against classic savannah scenery. Every itinerary is guided by experienced local drivers who know where the action is season by season.

When to go

Tanzania is a year-round safari destination. The long dry season from June to October is the classic time — animals gather at rivers and waterholes and the bush is thin, so game viewing is at its easiest. The green season from November to May brings lush scenery, newborn animals and migrant birds, with fewer vehicles and better rates; the only caveat is the heavier rains of April and May.
